Sam Fitton,
the Conservation Committee Chair for the State Audubon
Board, has been affiliated with Audubon Ohio for two
years. In this position he works with Audubon Ohio staff
and other committee members to review issues that might
adversely affect birds, seeks ways to enhance bird populations
and habitat in Ohio and works with other committees
to assure that bird conservation is at the forefront
of all Audubon Ohio activities. Sam enjoys studying
birds, traveling, photography and spending time with
his family. He has been married to Terri for 25 years
and they have one daughter, Hope, who is now 15 years
old. Their family is anxiously expecting a 17-year-old
foreign exchange student, Nicole, from Switzerland.
